It’s incredibly difficult to not take pictures of fireworks. Even when you know they are inevitably a disappointment. A bright spot on a black ground doesn’t explode or twinkle or fade into a smoky shadow. This awesome composition, however, may have solved an age old temptation.  It almost has the feeling of a botanical print, and yet somehow also an infographic.
