I think I like the work of Supakitch & Koralie so much because it’s about extreme precision. It’s not about feeling something out, or action painting (though I love Pollock and Kline) or trying to create a mood (though I love Rothko). It’s about planning something and executing it perfectly. Watching them draw those incredibly even lines and trimmed out shapes makes me want to pick up a brush or a paint marker more than the “freedom” that probably appeals to most artists.
